In honor of our Arkansas Veterans, the Conway County Library held a World War I Memorial Tree Planning ceremony. Soil from the National Cemetery in France was shipped over and mixed in with Arkansas soil. The tree is a willow oak, and the event was sponsored by the Arkansas WWI Centennial and the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Thank you to all our Veterans for their service and sacrifice.
